Rheometer Viscometer is a kind of advanced testing instrument for rubber products.It is mainly used to measure the characteristics of the unvulcanized rubber and find out the most suitable vulcanization time of the rubber, so as to provide reliable data for the production technics.

The temperature measurement and control circuit is composed of an adaptive high-precision PID temperature controller, a fault relay, a platinum resistance and a heater. It can automatically track the changes of the external power grid and the ambient temperature, automatically and in real time correct the PID parameters to achieve the purpose of rapid and accurate temperature control.

With the strong support of computer database and related software, the data acquisition system stores all the data of each measurement and optimizes the processing of each parameter.According to the optimization scheme, all the data can be sorted to find the best vulcanization parameters.In addition to printing the vulcanization curve in real time, it can also display and print the vulcanization curve and parameters of any previous time on the display.

The key point of the mouse on the computer has the same function as the key point on the host panel for the convenience of user operation.The software interface of the computer is quite friendly and easy to use.Users can accurately measure the coking time, vulcanization time, vulcanization index, maximum and minimum torque, etc.,which is the most ideal equipment for rubber industry to control the quality of rubber materials, rapid inspection and basic research of rubber.

Working Principle

Put rubber sample in almost completely sealed cavity, and maintain under the test temperature, the cavity has a fluctuation two parts, one part under with tiny linear reciprocating movement (swing oscillation), oscillation samples can produce shear strain, the determination of sample of cavity reaction torque (power), the torque (power) depends on the size of the shear modulus of the rubber.

Sulfide increases the shear modulus of samples after the trial begins, computer machine real-time display and record torque (power), when the torque (power) up to a maximum stable value or even return status, then get a torque (power) and the relation curve of time, namely, vulcanization curve (as shown in figure 1), the shape of the curve and test the temperature and the properties of the rubber.
