What are the test methods for drop testing machine of packing box

This standard is equivalent to the international standard iso2248-1985 (vertical impact drop test of transport packages with complete and full packaging).

1. Subject content and scope of application

This standard specifies the main performance requirements, test procedures and test reports of test equipment used in vertical impact testing of transport packages

This standard is applicable to evaluate the impact strength of transport packaging and the protection ability of packaging contents when subjected to vertical impact.It can be used either as a single test or as part of a series of tests.

3. Test principle

Lift the test sample to a predetermined height, and then make it fall freely according to the predetermined state, colliding with the impact table

4. Test equipment

4.1 shock stage

The impact table is a horizontal plane, does not move or deform during the test, and meets the following requirements

A. is the whole object, with A mass at least 50 times the mass of the test sample

B. Sufficient area shall be provided to ensure that the test sample completely falls on the impact table

C. the horizontal height of any two points on the impact table shall not exceed 2mm

D. When any 100mm2 area on the impact table is subjected to a static load of 10kg, its deformation shall not exceed 0.1mm

4.2 lifting device

Test samples should not be damaged during lifting or lowering

4.3 support device

The device supporting the test sample shall, prior to release, enable the test sample to be in the desired state

4.4 release device

In the process of releasing the test sample, the test sample should not touch any parts of the device to ensure its free fall

5. Single wing drop tester test procedure

Lift the test sample to the desired drop height and hold it in a predetermined position.The difference between the straightening height and the predetermined height shall not exceed ±2% of the predetermined height.Drop height is the distance between the low point of the test sample and the impact table when preparing for release

Release the test sample in the following predetermined state

When surface falling, the Angle between the falling surface of the test sample and the horizontal plane should not exceed 2°

When the edge drops, the Angle between the falling edge and the horizontal plane should not exceed 2°. The error of the Angle between the specified surface and the impact table on the test sample should not exceed ±5° or 10% of the Angle (whichever is larger). The gravity line of the test sample should pass the Angle being dropped

Regardless of the condition and shape of the test sample, the heavy vehicle line of the test sample shall pass through the fallen surface, line and point

The difference between the actual impact velocity and the impact velocity in free fall is no more than 1%
