Particle density test procedure for polyethylene (PE) :

1. Prepare the densitometer host and its accessories, and test PE plastic particles, experimental spoon, tweezers, tumbler, tennis ball and alcohol;

2. Electrify the densitometer, load water into the water tank to the line, put it on the host machine, and then install the weighing table;

3. Put the tennis ball on the hanging basket in the water on the weighing table and completely drown it. Then put the small glass a on the weighing table and press the peel button;

4. Put 6.335g plastic particles into the glass a on the weighing table with the experimental spoon, and press Mode key to record the weight of plastic particles in the air after the instrument is stabilized;

5, dry, remove the sink in the tennis open and pour into a glass of plastic particles, close approach shot, when to avoid plastic particles in the water bubble affect the final result, using alcohol to rinse the inside of the tennis and plastic particles, drain to the tennis in the sink after the hanging basket, a empty glass back on the weighing platform, also after instrument stability and press Mode key, measuring the weight of plastic particles in the water is 0.455 g, the results of the calculation in the instrument and display the density of 0.930 g/cm ᶾ.

6, repeat the test steps, check density gauge repeatability, the second test results is 0.936 g/cm ᶾ, test results for the third time is 0.930 g/cm ᶾ, twice repeating test results with large error of only 0.006 times the results, good repeatability.
